No. You only pay us when you get paid. Arkner takes a fair 15% commission on each completed job. This covers payment processing, customer support, app maintenance, and marketing to bring you a steady stream of customers. You'll never have to worry about hidden fees, subscription costs, or paying for leads that go nowhere.

What if a customer cancels on me when I'm already on my way?

We understand things happen. If a customer cancels after you've accepted the job and are en route, you'll be compensated for your time and effort. The specific cancellation fee structure will be outlined in our driver agreement, ensuring you're protected.

Can I still get paid in cash?

To ensure secure and hassle-free payments for both drivers and customers, all transactions are processed through the Arkner app. Customers pre-pay for their recovery, and you'll receive the funds directly to your account upon successful job completion.

Do you track me when I'm not on the app?

We value your privacy. Arkner only tracks your location while you have the app open and are actively on a job. We do not track your location when you are offline or not using the app.

Do the customers get my number when I'm booked?

To protect your privacy, we use a masked phone number system. Customers can contact you through the Arkner app, and you can choose to call them back through the app as well. This keeps your personal number private.

Can I talk to the customer before doing the job?

Yes! We encourage clear communication. You can connect with the customer through the Arkner app's built-in messaging or calling features before starting the recovery. This allows you to confirm details, address any questions, and ensure a smooth process.

How long do I get to accept a job?

You'll have a reasonable window of time (e.g., 5 minutes) to review the job details, including location, vehicle information, and price, before accepting or declining. This gives you time to make an informed decision without feeling rushed.

Will I keep getting pinged for more jobs while I'm on a recovery job?

Once you accept a job, you won't receive notifications for new jobs until the current job is marked as complete in the app. This ensures you can focus on the task at hand without distractions.

Do I have to wait to receive payment?

No waiting around! Once you mark the job as complete in the app and the customer confirms, the agreed-upon payment is instantly released to your Arkner account. You have full control over your earnings.

What happens if I have to cancel a job?

We understand that unexpected situations arise. If you need to cancel a job, the Arkner app allows you to do so with a reason. Our system will then automatically notify nearby drivers to minimize any inconvenience to the customer. However, repeated cancellations without valid reasons may affect your driver standing.
